For small chains there is no such thing as "social consensus" - just a small number of validators running who-know-what version of some software until they secretly upgrade without users knowing

honestly, it sounds kinda sketchy when there's no transparency with these small chains. like, can we even trust them if they're just doing their own thing without letting anyone know? seems like a recipe for disaster tbh. curious to hear what others think! 🤔
