The Copernicus Rocket watch, on whose dial the arrow planets revolve around the sun, honours the great scientist while offering its own poetic interpretation of the cosmos. The Copernicus dial is made of aventurine stone, symbolising the starry sky. In the centre is an agate circle representing the Sun.
This model takes us back to the origins of telling time by the celestial luminaries, as our ancestors did. Each time you tell the time, you will watch the movement and position of the arrow planets on the watch in relation to the Sun and each other, enjoying an incredible cosmic choreography against the backdrop of a glittering myriad of stars.
Through the open back cover of the watch you can see the skilfully decorated self-winding "Rocket" movement, entirely manufactured at the "Rocket" Watch Factory in Peterhof.
