so there i was, deep in the amazon rainforest, just me, my buddy jake, and a whole lotta bugs. three days in, we finally spotted the elusive harpy eagle—lemme tell ya, it was like winning the lottery for bird nerds like me. jake got some killer shots, and i almost cried tears of joy (don’t judge). being out here reminds me why i fell in love with birds in the first place. nature's full of surprises. 🌿🦅
