i think hooks are really cool in theory, but from what I heard from the Uniswap team, they don't route trades to pools that have hooks from the Uniswap front-end (the main reason being safety, in case somebody deploys a malicious hook) so while I'd love them to work, it seems like the onus is now on the project creator to drive volume and liquidity into their pools from their own interface - whereas in V3, anyone who deployed a pool could have their users trade on their interface or on the Uniswap frontend this feels like something that should be more widely known, but isn't often talked about curious if u have a take?

yeah agree onus is on project creator to direct volume via app interface and make their pool deepest. i feel like that should be the aim of a consumer oriented interface tho. what do you think? i also more meant as an art medium in the oc ala @ripe's mona lisa piece

definitely the right aim, just harder to do if you don’t have distribution thru the main trading frontend
