I need a cost-effective device that I only use for reading. Books, articles, PDFs, etc. Must be able to sync with Readwise relatively easily, and must not easily distract me with non-reading activities.

Daylight Computer is perfect for this use case and a daily joy that has coincided with a lot more (article) reading for me. Granted — not cheap. A killer (albeit flawed) v1

It’s just very much a v1. Basically stock android with a third party launcher, a little heavier than preferred, and would really like a proper keyboard case for writing. But the screen makes all of those things rounding errors and I’m very excited for what the cook up software-wise

First thing I noticed were the fat bezels and stylus latency (I use an iPad Pro  + Apple Pencil daily), but agree those are just rough edges they'll smooth out over time
