Part of me feels “stuck” in crypto career-wise because it’s the only industry where I’ve found any semblance of multi-year compounding and doing anything else would mean starting from scratch And honestly that compounding is not really even any hard skill, moreso just network and intuition

yea i mean i think i've found valuable compounding in crypto. point moreso is that it's high switching cost to explore other stuff because it means giving up that compounding

I think it depends on what "other stuff" you're talking about Sure, crypto may not make you a better botanist, for example But as tech continues to eat the world, I think there's more crypto learnings that apply across fields that we just don't see on the surface Look on the bright side :)
