building in crypto is a constant build vs buy decision

except you’re rarely buying with $

you’re buying with time + effort

harder for a protocol builder who can’t play favorites

easier for a app builder with one clear focus

building something new 🪄 // prev. rabbithole, village global

but on the flip side:

if protocols are for builders to spend time/effort on, and apps are for users to spend time/effort on

then the best outcome is when protocol + app builders cooperate

but as client diversity increases, cooperation b/w protocol + app builders is harder

how do we mitigate this tension?
