honestly think different apps are better for different use cases. sometimes analog is better than any digital tool.

i tried obsidian long ago but gave up on it, might retry

looking for something minimal, honestly might just do apple notes for now, good looks

i have like 200+ untitled text edit documents open for random notes 😂 chaos

fwiw - if you convert your text edit docs to markdown you’re halfway there on obsidian

then could use it simply for ability to search files faster + connect them to related notes

at the end of the day, obsidian is “just a markdown editor” + lots of extensions

i think of it as having a low floor and high ceiling:

easy to use basic stuff (notes + folders)

powerful enough for robust personalization (extensions)
