People want to blame Blue Beetle’s failure on the Hollywood strikes, but the reality is it just wasn’t a good movie. The concept was cool, just poorly executed. Most of the actors were well-written and likable (not the main guy). The Scarab that is the source of his powers sounds interesting but the audience is not told much about it in the movie and instead has to seek external sources for more information. But most importantly I never once saw an ad for this movie anywhere. The biggest downfall was the marketing.

Highly recommend this movie. Definitely worth the $1 spent to watch it. It was an experience everyone should have.

Rank the Matrix movies. I’ll go first: 1. The Matrix 2. Matrix Revolutions 3. Matrix Resurrections 4. Matrix Reloaded (Honestly 2 and 4 were equally as bad, the sex scene in Reloaded was just weird though)

Chicago P.D is the perfect police drama, and Hank Voight the perfect character. He’s a no bs cop who sometimes goes beyond the law to punish criminals. He treats criminals how they deserve to be treated.

HOT TAKE: I personally believe sex scenes to be mostly pointless, and they are only included because writers/directors are perverts who want to watch their fantasies played out. Interested to see what other people think!

So just watched the 2011 Cabin in the Woods (9/10 movie, highly recommend), but I was wondering if it was an original film or a remake of an older movie? It sounded like a remake, but then again “spooky cabin in the woods” is a common horror movie trope

Heard rumors that another Jurassic Park film is underway….one of my all time favorite movie series, but it’s perfect how it is (unless they wanted to do a prequel about Hammond and Lockwood).
