Sharing answer to some questions we got on the Guild call today: 1/2: How does Builder benefit? City Nouns is designed to scale the use of Nouns Builder by launching multiple city-based DAOs, each running daily auctions that generate protocol rewards for Builder DAO. By the end of 2025, we project 10 active cities, and by the end of 2026, 30+ cities, increasing Builder’s long-term protocol revenue. Additionally, City Nouns onboards entirely new communities—artists, local organizations, and Web3-curious builders—into the ecosystem, growing awareness and adoption of Builder DAO as a tool.

2/2: What will this fund? Expect a more detailed budget once we’ve outlined the specifics of the May 22 event (including some marketing cost since we don’t have a captive audience like we would at an industry event), in addition to that there may be some custom development to create the parent-child relationships between global and city-specific DAOs, we’re basically launching 2 DAOs between now and May 22 so there will likely be cost to scale the art, for example, that quickly, among other things!
