2018 was by far the worst year for Rural employment as well - 
Over 5% of Rural population was Unemployed.

Before 2012, Unemployment in Rural Areas of India was below 2% and looked very much controlled.

In urban areas of India, female unemployment rates have consistently been higher than male unemployment rates over the entire time span. This disparity reached its highest in 2018, with a difference of 4 percentage points.

Post-2018 Recovery: There is a notable decrease in unemployment rates across rural, urban, and total categories, across genders - indicating a recovery phase. 

By 2022, the rates have almost stabilized to a little higher than pre-2018 levels.
