@ampsfun is the first app to nerdsnipe me in a while because it perfectly leverages and builds upon existing Farcaster network effects. 

Farcaster already thrives on content sharing and amplification. Amps doesn't try to create new user behaviors—it monetizes actions that users already perform naturally.

By doing so, Amps establishes a few self-reinforcing growth loops:

Creators: Creators who pay for distribution → Reach new audiences → Gain followers → Create more content → Have larger budgets for distribution

Readers: Readers who earn from recasting → Are motivated to grow their audiences → Attract more followers → Command higher recast prices → Attract better creator content

This model is particularly compelling because it transforms what was previously a social transaction (sharing content) into an economic one without disrupting the core user experience.
