Maybe you're right sir, but I’ve seen these kinds of situations a lot since 2015. My optimism comes from past experiences.

I don’t think there’s past experience to draw from here…this is a fundamental restructuring of world order that hasn’t been seen since WWII. We haven’t imposed tariffs like this since McKinley was president. Seeing Lutnick and Bessent literally contradicting each other on TV while Trump is playing golf doesn’t instill confidence in me there is even a real goal, let alone a plan. You’d think they’d at least have sort of conference call to sync up. 🤣 Seems like we’re cooked (at least us Americans 🤣)
