I was silently observing the situation but some degens were asking me and here we go I trust jacek, he always find his way and here we are after all, so, he must have done some good things in the past If you were not engaging in farming, claim what is yours patiently and stay calm I observed that some people were engaging in quote and recast games and stuff like that, AI image casts, sharing too many stats frames and "low" effort casts.. and they maybe included in the spam list.. are they farmers? I don't think so we should separate farmers and spammers, the former are bad for the ecosystem if become a way to exploit it, the latter is bad only when then intention is bad per se, but some people is just trying to get some exposure in the wild wild farcaster they can learn what is wrong and not doing it again while the others will create another account to continue the game It is hard to separate them and this is not only a problem with degen or online communities, it shows in society too, be patience

I think a system should be designed so that farming is no longer profitable for farmers and instead pushes them toward real and proper activity. This way, they won’t get labeled as spammers anymore either. Killing two birds with one stone!

problem is that degen is not alone in the ecosystem.. other systems promoting recasts and quote casts behaviour.. and engagement from top accounts.. are "forcing" people into this behaviours to grow their exposure and earn some of this other tokens.. you are going to make your way to the spam list with this behaviour.. and, most of this games are promising a degen tip or a degen reward.. what is not bad for the ecosystem if used to reward content quality or as a prize in a more not spammy way.. this is a complex ecosystem with many protocols converging, every single change has a butterfly effect

Yeah, i agree with u! 👍 The issue is that, unfortunately, most people have joined Farcaster solely for earning income and lack a deep understanding of Web3 or Farcaster itself. If users come to understand the advantages of Farcaster and Web3 through proper education, I believe most of them will focus on delivering quality content, such as sharing their skills, expertise, or services. This is something that will naturally happen over time.
