Beautiful pairing of artwork by @mariafynsknorup.eth and @damlasahinbas_ (X), from my collection, curated by @mehdi-benembarek. I hold multiple copies of this edition from Maria, as I connected with it immediately. I absolutely love self-portraits and one with a pet takes it to the next level. Maria nailed it with this conceptual portrait. This portrait of Damla’s mother is iconic. This is a one of one that I purchased on Foundation. Her mother has since passed away, but her mind-blowing mother/daughter collaborations exist today on the blockchain. I am very proud to have these artworks in my art collection.

Wonderful pair! Colors and their saturation (or lack thereof) always absolutely reflect a person's age, love this technique on the part of artists. On the left is a portrait of a girl in color, which shows us that she is in the very dawn of her powers and still has a lot ahead of her, while on the right is a portrait of an older woman in black and white, which makes me feel hopeless and lost. The lack of colors together with the character of the portrait shows a situation that has reached a dead end, there is nowhere to go, and this movement and development has no sense in principle. Thank you
