imo the least offensive time for you to buy your own tokens is /after/ everyone else has gotten there own. you risk paying /more/ but that makes it harder for you to, as they say, "dump on your followers."

well, I'm a photographer and I'm saying it 😂 , I love telling that to my daughter if she complains about math, she's as skeptical as you are, but I do believe it to be true.  I'm a photographer, but was a Chemistry major and also remember getting a letter recommending I become a Math major heading into college.  That's probably why I ultimately came to photograph architecture and physical spaces, it's all angles, and perspectives are math.  I'm into pondering about physics and string theory and all things related to the universe.  It's all math related 😂

that's definitely what a mathematician or string theorist would say. philosophers are, characteristically... less certain.
