I was coming to get Ollie! :)
Charlotte's test results are in, Zach. It's neither good, nor as bad as we expected. The vet told us that it was a malignant tumour, but that he had removed all of it and that he can't say for sure that it has metastasis, although because of the shape of the tumour and several other things, it is probably not spread in her body.
He told us. If there is metastasis he will live a maximum of 6 months, if there is not, he may live another three years, but it will surely grow again.
She is 10 years old and she is a boxer, so whatever it is, she will be a very happy grandmother for the years she has left :)
If she does get it again, we will remove it again as soon as we notice it, so that it doesn't spread quickly. If it doesn't metastasise she will live longer than any boxer does. So although we are not very happy, it is much better than we expected.
She is doing very well now, with lots of energy. She is a champion!
Sending Ollie a kiss and lots of love from here! 3 replies
