I hope to have a lot less free time (currently on the market for a job) and invest the free time I do have offline. Too much screen time is isolating and makes me depressed.

To further unpack, I feel like my addiction to technology is rampant and I’ve managed to ween myself off Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but FC is still some addictive shit.

I look forward to the day I can turn all my devices off for a week and not feel anxious or pressure or stressed that I’m missing out on something or like I have to compulsively check a feed not tethered to a digital leash.

That’s a good reason and I agree, it’s crucial to find a healthy balance.
