one of my favorite things in life is like when I was a kid—u know, there's always the kid you hate or hates you for some reason and so ur only reflex is to hate them back; well, I had a few of those moments as a kid, you might understand why—i've always been this particular shade of larry david abrasive—but I digress, my favorite thing about my childhood haters, well one of them, i think i hated him because he was like this brad pitt figure, all the girls liked him and he was like the center of attn (in my recollection) and so naturally I hated him because I aint him, I think he hated me back because I was a little dork/asshole and prolly had an attitude with him in some interactions along the way but anyway..

I don't recall hating him for very long, maybe only a few years of our schooling together, and then we graduated elementary school, fifth grade and into sixth grade and got into skateboarding and dying my hair stupid colors and being a 'punk', and through skateboarding and being a 'punk' somehow I bonded with this brad pitt dude, he was skating too(!), and like our whole aversion to each other turned into a brotherly bond and like we've been good friends ever since that age. My brother @bodhizafa It's one of the coolest changes to the narrative I've experienced in my life. To go from hate to love, it's wonderful. He's been a real g, since then. Stand up dude. It feels great to figure out you're wrong. It's one of my favorite feelings honestly. To figure out I was wrong about something good.

I think about that like, what if there's someone today who I have an aversion to that is probably actually cool and ponder who that might be for a half second only to realize there's no way i could ever be as stupid as i was as a kid again and incorrectly assign my targets of scorn. I'm an adult and I'm perfect now.

@bias I don’t mean to quote the Bible but you sound like Saint Paul: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
