Allowing the mainstream media news cycle to steer your attention and emotions is the weakness I am speaking to.

I’m not referring to the mainstream news cycle. I have an Israeli wife. Her brother and family near Tel Aviv have been sleeping in a bomb shelter. We have been receiving horrific texts with anecdotes for the last 72 hours. If anything, mainstream news is under reporting the severity of the savagery.￼

￼People have an inability to admonish heinous actions… when some actions are absolutely wrong. 

It is wild how many choose ignorance, over negative emotions, in the name of protecting their heart.

Sorry to hear man. Unfortunately they’re all attempting to tread the line carefully with that situation because they’ve audience capture. They’ve told the story there are oppressed people there so now they can’t just throw those people under the bus or risk their reputations further.
