The essential advantage of memecoins lies in their price range, making them an addictive consumer product with a lower price point. It's a game that fewer people can play, similar to three or four old men setting up a chessboard on the street. Memecoins can also be seen as an industry-wide boredom index; the less change brought by technological progress in the industry, the greater the motivation to find fun in low-cost financial products.

Bitcoin was created for decentralization, but decentralization holds little significance outside of currency. Efficiency and usability are key. Blockchain struggles to find meaningful applications except for gambling. Can blockchain/crypto find a third large-scale application beyond currency and gambling?

Today, an entrepreneur described to me what they call an "understands me" AI. It's the kind of AI that, after a meeting with an investor, listens in on the conversation and then says to the entrepreneur, "Boss, I'm guessing you think that investor is quite an idiot, don't you?"
