This extractive optimization and alignment with serial ruggers is also something I don’t like.

Aside that, I think it’s fair to prefer running a company over a community and taking some profits home AND I differ between use cases where it makes more sense to operate as business or protocol/community

Creating something that facilitates scams and running off the proceeds is not a flex or something worth celebrating

I mean, it is pretty amazing. At the end of the day they are a company that has managed to build a profitable business model in web3. Why wouldn't you celebrate it?

Users love? These so called trading gurus on x are selling next 100x 1000x token dreams to these users. If we're talking users here in my understanding is that like >90% got absolutely destroyed in different ways i:e: mev, fees, rugs. So the consensus is that pump.fun did a lot more harm than good. The whole model creates an incentive for rugs and scams
