Dumping Liljegren’s contract does more for the 2024-25 Leafs than keeping him would’ve. I’d say there’s a 25% chance he develops and makes them look dumb for moving him, but it’s probably more likely he ends up similar to Dermott. Too bad, we’ve needed a RHD for years.
