contrarian AGI thesis: AGI does not immediately solve biological issues due to lack of knowledge. Instead it proposes a series of studies and experiments to acquire knowledge that might take decades to bear fruit. We get mired in political debates about which populations might be compelled to participate in these experiments, what ethical cautions to take, and so on. We aren’t bound by computational or technological limits, we’re bound be epistemic limits. How quickly will nature reveal her remaining secrets?

Quick question then, as we've found in recent discovery about regrowing teeth in Humans, wouldn't it be considered the same as genetic mutations? And so when fed the data, AGI would be able to piece it together to find more info on genetic mutations, and not ever disease should have a medicine, right?
