Wildflowers and apples 🍎🌸 | 📍Today I want to share the secrets of creating the perfect still life with wildflowers and apples using oil paints. Construction of a still life: - We always start by building a composition, observing perspective and compositional rules in order to correctly position objects on a plane.

🎨DRAWING LIKE A PSYCHOTHERAPY SESSION👩‍🔬 😌 One day I received feedback from one of my students Antonina, and it touched me to the core, because I know from myself that drawing really replaces a psychotherapy session. 👩‍🎨 Antonina wrote: “I met you at the moment when I was at the peak of stress and apathy towards everything. I'm tired of spinning the home-work-school-garden carousel. I wanted to somehow get away from all this and be alone with myself. And so your lessons plunged me headlong into an ocean of colors and tranquility.” 🙏 These words made me think about how important art can be for each of us, especially in moments when everything around us seems to be falling apart.

Your favorite post with references! These bright paintings, made with rich strokes, will decorate the interior in light colors and create a contrasting color spot on the wall! ❤ If I were you, I would save the post and try to paint one of the paintings this week! You never know when you will need inspiration 😉

Still life references for your paintings ✨ Gathered for you some just unrealistically beautiful selection of still life photo references. It's very hard to choose one reference, I want to write them all at once! What do you think, which reference do you like best, which one would you like to write?

Creepy fairy tale illustrations 👻 Pictures accompanying fairy tales are a crucial part of the process of perceiving the work. They can both enhance a positive impression and exacerbate a negative one: many of us will probably remember a few fairy tale illustrations that literally scared us as children.
