best practices for caching an external API of list of results to a postgres DB with a table of results. Doing updates + inserts - upsert or copy or something else. Is there a no code tool or service that does this perhaps?

Do you need to invalidate it when data in db is updated? The easy solution IMO is add @cloudflare CDN on top of the api url. It's amazing for a lot of things really

Although if as you said it's an external api, and you also need to store the results on your side + cache them, then redis is a good option as @manan suggested below
