There’s a kind of weight to this place that is difficult to articulate if you’re not immediately aware of it. It feels like a networking event; there’s an emphasis on careerism, tech, business trends and an impatience for the little things. Most of the attempts at culture feel forced & deemphasized, like they’re getting in the way of the dapps professing to change the world. Everyone has to be serious or profound or have the most serious take and it feels exhausting.

The ones that come to mind are all much more media oriented (MySpace/tumblr/zora) so I guess what I’m actually asking for is better media hosting. Would be really cool if it was easier to share video/audio.

Omg could the missing feature have been videos all along, just implemented better? (No idk what better means. But if this turns out to be the case it’ll be hilarious because it was the first major release after frames and Dan said it would be bigger than frames and it would just be too perfect.)
