reflection on @base growth: when we launched the @farcon precommit in february, we required the 20 USDC deposit on Base. people were annoyed. we had to include directions on how to get USDC on Base (CB wallet or bungee.exchange and then bungee got hacked fml). now ~6mo later, USDC on Base is pretty much the default.

USDC on base is still annoying for me. The path I have to take is - USDC on base Synapse to mainnet (fee) Mainnet to Coinbase (gas fee) Coinbase to chase (fee) Would much rather use mainnet for most cases of payment these days

just send base usdc or base eth to coinbase and get a Coinbase Visa card Why synapse or mainnet?
