$DEGEN Monetary Policy: In the coming days, a significant increase in Degen's on-chain supply is expected. To align supply with demand, I'm reducing tip allowances by 30% for all users starting tomorrow. As inflation threatens currency value, I must foster stability. I'll regularly review and adjust these policies.

Doesn't seem super decentralized to have a single person able to decide the tip allowance unilaterally

Is there a better solution in the early project phases? Decentralization for its sake isn't ideal. On-chain governance or DAOs may worsen things. I often seek input, iterate, and experiment for improvement.

good to point it out, but also, let's give them some time, it's all too recent to complain about decentralization at this point in time imo.
