Coinbase’s embedded wallet solution does not require seed phrases! The only thing you need is a web2 authentication method, e.g. a Google account or email. That is the beauty of embedded wallets. It requires 0 crypto knowledge from the end user. So much so, the user may not even notice it’s crypto!

thanks @yuga - could the wallet be embedded so that it becomes immediately accessible after logging into a specific website? or does it requires a separate web2 auth to unlock it?

This is why I’m love me some CB wallet and Base. They are trying to be the on ramp to the masses. Pretty soon all seed phrases, wallets, etc will be going on in the bkg. Its the only way for mass adoption
