It feels like Farcaster is starting to lean left in ways I personally don't really love.

Some of it is low quality election-related posting. Another part is this “crypto is actually leftist” vibe (libertarian socialism, anarchism, DAOs as governance, etc.) - /cryptoleft in a nutshell. 

To be very clear, I have 0 problem with people who believe in those things organizing on here. That is exactly what permissionless systems are for. 

But if that becomes the dominant ethos of Farcaster, it will alienate me and, I suspect, many others.

fwiw i never knew /cryptoleft existed until recently and therefore never engaged with it and still never see it (and i prefer it that way tbh) so i was shocked reading your initial cast

funny how one tiny corner of a platform can flavor the entire experience

Citing specific passages or ideas is categorically different from endorsement and self-identification
