Nobody laughs at you if you mention that France and its Republic have a problem with Christianity. They all know that laΓ―citΓ© was at war with Christianity. However they will indeed, and rightfully so, be laughing at you if you try to compare this with antisemitism or anti Muslim, they don’t have the same mechanics (racism), nor the same consequences. French mocking Christianity is like a fight at a family dinner, between parents and children. They are still the same family and the same bank holidays
