spoke to my uncle at a dealership just now and he is pulling inventory for things within range, and confirmed there would no issues shipping car up to atx. paperwork could happen via docusign, and all sounds relatively straightforward. 

If auction is still the plan, I was told most auctions happen online these days, and an auto dealer license is required to 'attend'. however, there are still local auctions that are open to the public in person. 

I am htx based, and there is one that happens about 20min from me every other Tuesday. getting the car up to atx this way would not be a problem either.
