I have been waiting for a year for this course to open. It is an investment, but I am certain that the skills I learn here in surface pattern design will catapult my portfolio forward enough to start licensing patterns with CONFIDENCE. Barbel Dressler has a certain teaching style I resonate with. I'll be using brush on paper and layers of tracing papers, vectorizing by scanning in hand-drawn art, and mastering the art of a professional complex repeat design such as the Damask or trailing floral.
