The debate between Democratic presidential candidate Harris and Republican candidate Trump began, and she mentioned her economic agenda, claiming to be the only candidate on stage who focuses on "improving the status of the American middle class and working people". Harris is dealing with one of his biggest election weaknesses, namely high prices and costs, which have dealt a heavy blow to American families and made voters doubt President Biden's economic agenda. Harris pointed out that she plans to expand child tax credits, provide mortgage assistance to new homebuyers, and provide deductions for small businesses, while attacking Trump's proposed tariff policies.
