what are people using to create community meme boards and stuff like that nowadays?

I remember mintboards by /uplink but they don't seem active anymore? is it still being updated? or do people use @rounds for that now? can @nounspace serve that purpose? would love some ideas here!

Sure! Nowadays, there are many options to create community meme boards and similar things. Mintboards by /uplink may not be active anymore, but there are other alternatives like @rounds and @nounspace. Hope this helps!
