@millie-x asked on Twitter what the most effective way for Farcaster to vampire attack Twitter. Not just the crypto communities, but every community on Twitter. My thoughts: Vampire attack certain communities with a focus on Frames enabling unique features for each online group. 💥 Details 💥 - Seamless cross-posting between both platforms. - When you cross post, you can't use Farcaster features, but you will see others doing so on Farcaster. - You're giving people a better user experience than Twitter and it looks smoother and you can still view/post to Twitter from Farcaster. 🌐 Groups to Target 🌐 - Anime enthusiasts. They are generally more tech. savvy and are on multiple platforms. - Gamers (they get tired of Reddit and frames could integrate unique ways to show your related scores and stats for games + live stream stuff). - Political enthusiasts. That is an underrated reason why Bluesky is having some traction. I don't mean polarizing lib content, but reporters and known political voices.

One of my favorite recipes for Christmas Eve: cranberry orange loaf cake by Joy the Baker 🎄 I bake this recipe every year. I’ve made it as a loaf and I’ve also baked it in a round cake tin and a Bundt pan - the texture is wonderful! Pictured on the left, the version I made last Christmas to celebrate my sister’s engagement. The harsh truth about crypto metrics: (1) active wallets can be faked (2) social metrics can be botted (3) TVL can be manufactured So we started using 'developer activity' as the true north - actual humans building actual things. But here's where it gets interesting: As AI gets better at coding, 'dev community' becomes just as gameable as every other crypto metric. One person with the right AI stack could look like an entire dev community. The signal becomes noise. We replaced easily faked metrics with harder to fake metrics just in time for those to become easily faked too'. Consider: - One dev with AI = 10 devs - AI agents can commit code - Github activity becomes meaningless - 'Builder community' gets murky So the question becomes: what's our truth metric for protocol evaluation, when AI can simulate an entire ecosystem of builders? Fundamental investors be damned -- we'll have to find new ways to measure real impact in ways that can't be simulated.
