I’ve just minted three new pieces to my Ephemera collection! 1. The first meme that actually lives and breathes on Ethereum! 2. Most future-proof, everlasting IPFS pointer. 3. An artwork that only performs when the artist is truly trusted by the collector. Let's explore! 👇

Drakeflipping An iconic meme that now truly lives and breathes on the Ethereum blockchain. We've seen plenty of meme NFTs before, but a meme that actually operates fully on-chain? That's a first. Drakeflipping brings the iconic Drakeposting meme into Ethereum. The current collector gets Drake's approval, while the former collector gets disapproval—all of this rendered and executed on Ethereum through smart contracts. Blind Trust An on-chain experiment that explores trust between the artist and the collector. The artwork activates—creating a perfectly symmetrical resonance animation—only when the collector grants token transfer approval to the artist. Otherwise, it remains a static brick-like rectangle. The reason for dropping all three works simultaneously is to announce that I am building my artistic identity in public with these Ephemeral pieces, unfiltered and without hesitation. I plan to create a lot more over the course of a year. I’d love to have you join me on this journey.

Special thanks, in no particular order: @diid for diither. @frolic for EthFS. @hashrunner for putting IBM Plex Mono on-chain using EthFS. @optimizoor for the incredibly efficient utility smart contracts. @manifoldxyz and @whitelights.eth for creating this beautiful, extendable infrastructure and for assistance with custom implementations. @tokenfox.eth for creating OnChainChecker, which I use religiously to verify metadata and scores on testnet. @ovanwijk for the IPFS v0 CID Library, which was invaluable in building the v1 Library.
