Gemini co-founder Cameron Winklevoss posted on X platform that Merrick Garland's Department of Justice refused to file campaign finance charges against SBF because these charges were not included in his extradition. In other words, this technically violates the treaty between the United States and the Bahamian government, as the United States only agrees to extradite SBF on non campaign charges. Garland's Department of Justice did not cooperate with the Bahamian government to fill out the necessary documents and overcome this technical issue (which the Department of Justice may have intentionally created from the beginning) in order to prosecute SBF on the charge of pre election interference, but instead surrendered and dropped the charges. When does paperwork become a barrier between prosecutors and increasing more charges? Especially when it involves using $100 million of stolen customer funds to intervene in elections. @gyosty
