It's been 2 years since the Ethereum Merge (Sept 15, 2022), a significant milestone in crypto history when Ethereum transitioned from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake. To commemorate this, I recently minted a ticket to watch "Vitalik: An Ethereum Story" at https://ethereumfilm.xyz, a documentary chronicling Ethereum's journey. A delightful moment in the film shows Vitalik Buterin googling "the merge" and exclaiming, "There's a panda on Google, that's amazing. Click, ding. It's a panda!" Launching this feature is definitely one of the highlights of my time at Google (so far - I'm still around!). It's a testament to the team's ability to create moments of joy and connection with our users (snarkily, sometimes despite the forces that be...) If you're interested in the story behind one of the most influential blockchain projects, I highly recommend minting a ticket and watching "Vitalik: An Ethereum Story" - you might just see a familiar panda! 🐼
