Farcaster to Launch New Snapchain Data Layer That Can Support App Syncing /farcaster Co-founder of decentralized social protocol Farcaster, Varun Srinivasan, tweeted that Farcaster will launch a new data layer called Snapchain to keep applications in sync. Written in Rust, Snapchain can handle over 10,000 TPS and will support millions of daily users. Snapchain will allow users to make unlimited transactions for an annual fee, and will recycle old transactions to save disk space.
