1 year ago today $high was launched on base mainnet before base went public I try to follow the wise words of our fearless leader @jessepollak, build more and talk less... I have been building and now it's time to talk a little and announce the next stage: utility 🧡

for the past few months I've been secretly building active market making software for base, and it's already running on high uniswap v2 for testing, it's running a market making strategy which consistently creates volume and operates within a certain range based on volatility, additional strategies are available including avellaneda market making built for dex (this could potentially create an order book), inventory based holdings, and desired price targets this means you can actively create ceilings and floors, target a desired price to buy or sell at, and passively target price swings based on different percentage movements

in its current state the software is built for larger clients such as institutional investors because it provides a dedicated super fast node per user, this is not scalable and pulling these types of clients will take time... the software is better proven in a retail environment that said, automated trading should be available to everyone and that will be the first iteration I am working on converting to a retail version which can operate at scale (this is not an easy task) and look forward to providing a beta in the near future

here's a screenshot showing how I operate 10 different trading nodes from my phone this is extremely basic but it gets the job done for now, a more intuitive and easy to use UI will be a primary goal
