We will be working with developers / projects that want to give users airdrops.

We’ll indicate what the developer is hoping to accomplish with the airdrop.

Users that 1) opt in 2) do the desired action—use a frame, engage in a channel, etc.—will start to develop reputation as a good user to offer future airdrops to.

Users that opt in, receive airdrops and don’t do the desired action will develop a reputation as a user to avoid offering airdrops. 

Ultimately, developers get to decide who to target (the data is permissionless). 

But I suspect airdrops on Farcaster will start to reward usage / go forward alignment.

If you're taking notes:

1. We want to increase the number of funded, active mobile wallets that are a few taps away from transacting in frames.

2. Roughly a month in, we just crossed 60,000 funded warplets. In addition, we have tens of thousands of connected mobile wallets via MWP.

3. This makes Farcaster more attractive for onchain developers: a potential audience who can use and transact in their onchain app—on a device they spend most of their leisure time on (sorry desktop maxis).

4. More funded, active mobile wallets means more frames. More frames, means more differentiated content for Farcaster. More differentiated content, more of a reason to use Farcaster *in addition to* other networks. Frames and differentiated, easy-to-use mobile onchain experiences makes Farcaster complementary to other networks.

5. The more time people spend trying out new onchain frames, the more likely they are to cast and use the social features.
