To Airdrop or not to Airdrop? What is the alpha ?

I’ve listed some basic pros and cons and would love some opinionated founders to chime in

Venture Builder in web2/3. I swim and box in case we ever regress back to the stone ages.

Middle East & Africa

Cons:
- High churn of users 
- Rotators bring bad PR if rewards aren’t high enough
- No clear incentive to keep using platform and DAUs drop
- Artificial market cap, dumping on tge if no vesting periods
- Point system seems to have better long term results (but what after when everyone’s expecting money ?)

Pros:
- off the shelf engagement and community funnel and marketing exposure
- easier sell to collab with potential partners 
- Immediate user purchasing power within the ecosystem and DAUs
- Early adopters become foundational community members
- Familiarity with product before main net
- Easier journey to PMF based
