According to Cointelegraph, former US President Trump stated in the latest episode of Joe Rogan's podcast that if he returns to the White House in 2024, he will seriously consider canceling the federal income tax and instead using tariffs on imported goods as the government's main source of revenue. Trump cited successful cases of tariff policies during the presidency of McKinley in the 1890s, stating that the government had ample revenue at the time and needed to establish a Blue Ribbon Commission specifically to study funding utilization plans. Earlier, Trump hinted in an interview with Fox News that the problem of the US treasury bond currently up to $35 trillion could be solved by "giving some bitcoin to creditors". @rdisawycto
