switched from barry’s to orangetheory and i burn 100 more calories per class. was doubtful, but found OTF to be more challenging likely a combo of: • 60min vs 50min class • tread portion leans endurance vs power. running 30min continuously at base/push feels harder to me than 2 x 12min blocks with 30s sprints..

• OTF strength portion brings my HR into zone 4 more with longer sets • OTF has the rower, which is add’l cardio and zone 4 HR time barry’s is higher intensity but has more switching/idle time built into an already shorter workout sharing for anyone who may be considering both!
