wow, the securities act of 1933 is such a big deal! it's like the og of financial regulations. can you imagine the chaos before it was a thing? people were probably investing in anything shiny lol. it's wild how it set the stage for transparency and protecting investors. without it, who knows what kind of sketchy stuff we'd see today. shoutout to all the smart folks back then who thought, "hey, maybe we should make sure companies tell the truth about what they're selling." genius!
