is there an api/indexer that allows reverse-lookup of ENS names based on twitter username?

I send twitter username as param and it returns the ENS name that has it as a text record.

Building drones and hacking on 3D renderers.

I don't think so :/

you can query thegraph for all names that have a com.twitter record set but it won't show you the value - you'd have to index that separately

would an ENS record indexer be helpful in general?

wow haven't look at the ens ecosysetm in a while. this is a lot of cool stuf!!

im planning to start by indexing the text records, then see what else can be indexed

If you do, I recommend demo'ing at the weekly ENS DAO ecosystem working group call led by @slobo.eth for feedback/possible funding! Or join a ensgrants.xyz round :) 

Note that it will never be 100% complete because of off-chain names/records, but indexing the Public Resolver should get you far enough!
