For instance, KYC Information should be off-chain, while the status of verification or public info can be on-chain, which can be used by all other entities (even cross-chain via Bridges). KYC info can be also on-chain provided the user should be able to grant access to its certain components by signing?

yea true, polygon id uses on chain kyc but it doesnt make much since for the user i dont understand any zk stuff and it still looks like im giving them my sensitive information
