The Missing Sandwich

Sarah stared at her empty lunch box in disbelief. Her favorite peanut butter and jelly sandwich had vanished. As she glanced around the office break room, she noticed peculiar purple crumbs leading to the supply closet.

Curiosity got the better of her, and she followed the trail. Opening the door, she found her new coworker, Dave, floating cross-legged in mid-air, surrounded by levitating office supplies. Her sandwich was orbiting his head like a tasty satellite.

"Oh, hi," Dave said awkwardly. "I'm actually from Neptune. Your Earth sandwiches help fuel my gravity-defying powers."

Sarah blinked twice, then shrugged. "Make me one of your Neptunian sandwiches sometime, and we'll call it even."

Dave grinned, and the staplers stopped spinning.
